I'm Sergeant Ashleigh Torres.
The Army plays many different roles throughout the world.
Sergeant Amanda Ford introduces us to one soldier whose role is taking care of Third World animals.
Utah National Guard soldiers are immunizing entire villages of cattle in Morocco.
Where did all these goats come from?
This is their livelihood; this is how they make their living.
He makes his living in dentistry,
so you can imagine if he feels out of place among a bunch of animal doctors.
Three days ago was his first day--
I got kicked in the back of the head by a goat. [laughing] The kids laughed.
--on this job.
This private first class in the Army signed up when the economy began to go down.
Everybody transfers to help out everybody.
They just ask for volunteers and you just kind of step up to the plate.
