Data storage is now more important than ever, so we felt the need to create new
way of storing information in less physical space.
We're from Portugal, and we are Protongal!
Our idea is to use a beam subatomic particles - such as protons - to pierce a
certain set of three different materials.
What for? You'll see in a minute!
- Do we have a minute? - We don't have a minute...
Each layer would be penetrated by a specific wavelength
and block a different one so that the beam of light will only be detected if
that layer has been pierced.
The information is stored in QR Codes, like the ones you scan with your smartphone,
allowing for data recovery.
This makes way for 2.8 times 10 to the power...
Ah, whatever. Gazillions of combinations and lasts forever and ever!
Just like Mondays...
Some of the applications would be birth and death certificates
and (let's not forget) our dear CERN's experiment data!
We'll see you soon!
(Hopefully!)
