When motorists approach a dark beacon, they may continue through the cross walk without
slowing down or stopping.
A flashing yellow light means that a pedestrian is waiting to cross and motorists should proceed
with caution.
The flashing yellow lights will be followed by solid yellow lights, which indicate that
motorists should stop if safe to do so.
The solid yellow light will be followed by solid red lights. As usual, when seeing a
red light motorists need to stop.
The solid red light will be followed by alternating flashing red lights, which indicates that
after first stopping, motorists can proceed with caution through the intersection as long
as there are no pedestrians in the crosswalk.
