Today I'm going to walk you through the Echo360 EchoCenter from the instructor's perspective. If you are using Echo360 for your class, you will
find a link for Echo360 in the navigation on the left side of the screen. Click it to visit the EchoCenter. In the EchoCenter you will see all of the videos
posted for class. At the top you will see viewing stats for the videos. Recent Activity shows the last few discussion topics and replies posted by
you or your students. At the bottom Echoes lists the videos posted for your class. Clicking a video allows you to play it. You can also see more
information about the video. Let's take a closer look at a few of these sections concentrating on the most important part first -- the videos.
Here we see that you can play the video, but you can also view some of the usage stats. One neat feature is the usage heat map. The timeline
shows the length of the video and where you see a concentration of colored bars this indicates what is being viewed. This may help you pinpoint
topics that you may need to review based on increased viewership. You can also click other tabs to see more information about the video.
You can easily toggle if a video is available or not for your class' viewing. If you toggle the availability status of a video it takes a little bit of
time for that change to stick. It's not instantaneous so please be patient. Clicking the other tabs, you can also view discussion items
and you can also see if you've bookmarked any parts of the video. Now let's click on the Reports tab. Here you can see usage stats on a
student-by-student basis. You can also see how many times they viewed the video, whether or not they posted a discussion topic, as well as
other things. Course Statistics shows you how many unique viewers have watched your videos, and how many times the videos have been
viewed overall. Ideally, the unique viewers' number should be equal to the class size meaning that each student has at least logged in once and
watched a video. Cumulative views will be a bigger number because one student may watch a video a few times. Recent Activity shows the last
few posted discussion topics and replies. Clicking one of these items will bring you to the video where the comment was posted, and you
will have an opportunity to add a reply. Discussion topics are visible to all students and instructors in the class.
