How often should I replace my nasal CPAP mask?
This is a question that is often posed to me.
I recommend that patients change their CPAP masks every three to six months.
Why is this necessary?
When your body's natural oil
causes deterioration of the mask material
this often leads to air leakage and mask discomfort.
