You know, were talking about here with Special Olympics with regard to individuals, children,
adults, with intellectual disabilities being integrated into society on a level that it
becomes seamless. They’re involved with society, you know, with regards to people
that are perceived as not lacking in certain areas where people who have intellectual disabilities
are perceived as lacking.
Well, you know, we are interested in changing that perception. And breaking down the boundaries
in society and having absolute 100 percent integration and involvement.
And obviously entertainment, you know, for the time, being an incredibly important part
of society. Then that also is an avenue that has to be explored. Obviously, if there is
a character in a film, as there has been for decades, that has an intellectual disability,
there really should be an attempt made to cast, just for a specific example, to cast
an actor who actually has an intellectual disability, I mean, there really should be.
And, yeah, I mean, it’s just something that should be, as you said, it’s something that
should be explored and can’t be limited to one aspect, just the sporting corner of
society. Something that should cross every boundary, that should be part of politics,
