My name's Anne Lataillade. I live in Bordeaux,
and I set up my food blog, Papilles et Pupilles, eight years ago.
I stopped working in the early 2000s
as my children were suffering from food allergies and intolerances.
One of them couldn't eat gluten, and the other couldn't have eggs.
I started browsing cooking sites and forums,
looking for ideas to brighten up our mealtimes.
One thing led to another,
and before I knew it, I was setting up my own cooking blog in 2005.
I share recipes for people with allergies,
but mainly feature classic dishes that everyone can enjoy.
Today, Papilles et Pupilles records approximately
1.5 million visits each month.
I've used AdSense from the outset,
and the money it brings in covers my management costs.
What I love about AdSense
is that it's really very easy to use.
Just a few clicks and you're done.
The system is reliable
and the ads are really well targeted.
I recently attended a workshop for publishers organized by AdSense.
We were taught about optimizing our revenue.
After the meeting, I made a few changes, and my revenue increased.
AdSense now accounts for nearly 20 per cent of my total revenue.
What's next? I'm continuing to grow traffic to the site.
I've built a solid partnership with Google.
I also use Google+ to promote my content
and increase awareness of my blog.
Being able to do what I love and see how much people like it is such a treat.
