Andrew Stunell: It's a great event here today at Spitalfields.
There's young people bringing new products to market.
It's a great way of improving the retail offer
of an area like this, for a community like this.
And of course, it's a real experience for them as well,
showing how they can develop their skills and their talents and bring products to market.
All over the country in this week we're seeing markets taking a real step forward,
promoting themselves, bringing the customers in.
From our point of view it's absolutely fantastic to see.
I want to see a lot more of it, not just this week, but in the years ahead.
Making markets really a central part of what happens
in our towns and cities across the country.
Adam Corbally: Markets are a fantastic opportunity for young people getting off the ground
and very, very enterprising.
Myself, when I was 19, I couldn't get a Princes Trust loan,
I couldn't get a Lottery grant, I couldn't get a bank loan.
So for me I had to start a business on very, very little money.
On a shoe-string budget, markets is the ideal way.
Especially during the fortnight you can get down to the market -
you can pay a fiver, or there's a table for a tenner scheme, you've got the umbrella insurance.
People have got no excuse now.
Stop talking about it, get out there, get stuck in and do it, just like I did.
