Hello and welcome to Todd's kitchen. Todays recipe is one of my favourites for an afternoon dinner.
It is diffidently delicious. So join me today as i make my version of a garlic and rosemary lamb roast.
So we are going to start of with a nice big leg
of lamb
So with a knife
cut some slits
just inside just like that and to it evenly
throughout the entire meat. You want to go down about
two centimetres
Next i have some garlic
that i have thinly sliced
place one in each cut slit
next i have cut up some fresh rosemary and as you can see i have cut it into
one two three
branches on the stick. So stick one
into each cut slit
So while this is cooking it will infuse the taste of the lovely
rosemary and garlic
next we are going to season with some
sea salt
and some black
pepper
So what i have done is place it onto a baking tray
I have about two cups of water in the base. So now place it into a pre heated oven
at two hundred degrees delicious for about two hours
the best way to check is to stick a squire into the meat
into the thickest part and if the juices come out clear its ready.
It has been in the oven for about an hour so now I'm placing in some vegetables
that we want to roast with
this meat
You can choose any vegetables you like. For me personally I'm using potatoes and
sweet potatoes
So it will be about half-an-hour to an hour left and that will be plenty of time for these potatoes and sweet potatoes
to be cooked
I have just taken this out of the oven
This smells fantastic
I can not explain how good this smells
i can not wait to get stuck into this. I have just sliced it up
and this meat has come out perfect
Now i personally like my meat well done
But you can lesson the time if you like it rawer. The last thing i need to do is add some
gravy

It really really is
You can taste just a hint of that rosemary and garlic
and it works so well. Its not an over powering taste, its nothing huge
it is a slight taste
but trust me it works it really really does. But you know what the best thing about this leg of lamb is?
It tastes simply delicious. And as always its an incredibly simple and easy meal to make
