For a lot of us, public transit buses are how we get from place to place.
Unfortunately, those buses don't always run on time, and we're often left wondering, "Where's my bus?"
We created OneBusAway to help answer that question.
We provide a set of tools that make it easy to find out when your bus is really going to arrive.
By using real-time bus tracking information from the transit agency, we can tell if your bus is running on time or if it's going to be late.
How do you use OneBusAway?
If you have a cellphone, you can call 206-456-0609
Phone: "Where is your bus? Let's find out. To enter your stop number, please press 1."
Your stop number can be found posted at your stop or on your stop's bus shelter.
Enter your stop number, and real-time arrival information will be read to you over the phone.
Phone: "Route 65, to Lake City, arriving in 5 minutes."
In addition to a phone interface, you can access OneBusAway using text messages
Apps for iPhone and Android phones
and through the web.
