The next thing to designing your wreath is a lot of people like to put bows on their
wreath. This adds a lot of interest and movement to the flowers. I like to use a wired ribbon
as opposed to a non-wired because you can get some nice shapes out of it. You could
use a solid, fairly wide, you could use a thin one, you can get into different colors
and shapes and types of fabrics whether it be sheer or not sheer. You could also do a
ribbon with two together instead of one which adds a lot of interest to your wreath. The
first thing you do is you need to make a tail and how long you want it to be and then you
take and grab it with your index finger and your thumb and push into it. You twist over
top of it and you come right back making your very first loop. A lot of times I like to
keep my loops the same depth. Sometimes a lot of people like the center loop to be smaller.
You could do it either way. You just keep twisting into the center and looping it down
and around,
making sure that your ribbon stays nice and straight. You could create a loop with, excuse
me a bow with three loops or you could go to a bow with as many loops and as big as
you possibly want. You don't want to go too long and so far out with a ribbon this wide,
you try to go maybe two or two and a half times the depth so that the ribbon actually
will look good and create a good heavy bow as opposed to a floppy and simple bow so the
next thing you need to do is put ribbon on to your wreath that will give it some dimension
and create a bow for it.
