In this session we edit the liturgy sheet for the second Sunday of Lent 2009.
We created this in the session: “How to Create a Liturgy Sheet or Booklet”
In the Calendar, highlight 8 March 2009 Second Sunday of Lent.
Click the Click and Print icon.
Double click the document to open it.
In the editing window, text and headings can be deleted or added. or pasted from elsewhere.
The clip art can be resized or replaced by another from the Resource Browser.
Font size of the entire document can be increased or decreased.
Use the Reduce by one page icon if there is slightly more text than needed.
The Outline tab is useful for making quick changes.
The contents of the Outline depend on the Guide chosen.
Dot-dash represents a Heading. Five lines represents Text.
To delete texts and headings, highlight the item in the Outline frame
then click the text button, or the headings button.
Delete the text of the Responsorial Psalm but not the heading.
Click again to restore the text of the Responsorial Psalm.
Delete the heading: Responsorial Psalm.
Once a heading is deleted it cannot be restored by clicking again, but it can be typed into the editing window.
We may want to use these selections again so we will save them as “Brief Format B”
Our new print mask is now available.
For extensive editing open the document in Microsoft Word.
Here we can do everything that Microsoft Word allows:
Change the font or paragraph attributes,
the styles,
apply our own template to replace the default one.
When all changes are complete close the document and return to Click and Print.
If a window asks you whether you want to Open or Save the document choose Open to return to Click and Print.
