Many publishers release articles online before a print version is available.
Some publishers post articles as soon as they are accepted.
Some post after copyediting but before pagination is completed.
You can find PsycINFO records for these very current articles by searching for “first posting”—
our designation for articles in any state of prepublication.
In this search, I'm looking for neuroscience or neuropsychology titles
for articles that are in a First Posting status.
Note that because these are prepublication articles, the records currently have no pagination specified.
The PsycINFO records for such “First Posting” articles contain only the information currently available from the publishers of those articles.
Thus, in some cases, there will be no pagination, volume, or other data.
When information about the articles is updated, the PsycINFO record will be as well.
However, whenever available, the link to the full text is provided in the record.
If you save this search or create an RSS feed, permalink, or email alert,
you can receive notifications about new prepublication—First Posting—articles relevant to your research
as they are added to the PsycINFO database.
