Hi! My name is Adlooph Ramirez from Tampa, Florida. On behalf of Expert Village, this
is how to install a ceiling fan. All right now we are going to assemble our light kit.
Not every fan has a light kit but of course, this one does as you can see here. It is really
simple. There are two wires that plug up just like this; your positive and your negative.
This one hooks up pretty easy. You just pop those two pieces together and that is pretty
much it. What we are going to do is hide the cable a little and try to screw the light
fixture back into place. You can force the cables around a little bit. Try to get them
back in any of the holes and fold them back. You don't want to crimp them too much. You
want to have them all nice and neat so that they will be flush when you actually screw
it in.
So once everything is in place, we've got to put the bulb on. This is a special halogen
bulb that gets extremely hot so you really don't want to touch it with your fingers.
If you touch it with your fingers, the oil from your hands can actually make the bulb
explode. What you want to do just like you are seeing here is tighten the bulb using
some type of napkin or like the Styrofoam covering that it came with. Just make sure
it is snug, give it a little test on the remote control or the chord if it has and your lighting
kit should work. Let's check it out.
