Hey guys, it's Jerimae Yoder with Expert Village. Today I'm going to talk about a few popular
acoustic songs, songs that you can play on your acoustic. Basically, I'll walk through
the main chords of a song and then I'll play the song for you. I'll talk a little bit about
the feeling behind the song and some of the chord structure and how it works out. The
first song we're going to do today is called "Trouble" by a guy named Ray LaMontagne. If
you don't know Ray LaMontagne, I suggest if you play acoustic guitar you go find him,
you go figure out who he is. An amazing songwriter and an amazing couple CDs. The first song
again is called "Trouble." The main chords of the song are G, C, D. There's also an F,
and there's also an A minor and also a B minor within the song. The song is very, very soulful.
There's a lot of soul behind the song, so when you sing it, when you play you really
want to have a lot of depth and a lot of soul to it. The basic strum pattern is 1, 2, 3,
4, 5, 6, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
