Hello. I am Dr. Ardella Dailey, coordinator of the Masters in Science and Educational Leadership program at
Cal State University East Bay.
If you participated in year one, tier one, educational leadership in the past five years, you have the option
to continue into the second year to complete your master's because year one, tier one,
meets requirements for the first year's master's. Your other option is to use your equity plan from year one
as the foundation for you to work. The second year is designed in a cohort model.
In the fall quarter you work on the identification of your equity issue. It can be an issue that exists currently,
or an issue that you began to work on in the previous year.
In the winter quarter you work on your literature review and your methodology design.
This is to provide you with the foundation for your research study, which you in the spring quarter,
complete your research study, and also present your findings at an annual master's exposition.
Year two work provides you with leadership opportunities in your district or at your school site.
Many people have found it to be an excellent foundation as they move forward in their professional career.
Please fill free to contact me;
I'm more than willing to work with you to have your career at Cal. State East Bay be successful.
