Okay, now when you've taken off most of the excess grout, you want to take a dry cloth,
or rag and kind of wipe away and get a little bit more detailed wiping away some of the
grout. Without digging into it; you don't want to dig into the grout that you've just
put in. You just want to smooth it over. Kind of smooth in between the pieces. Now a lot
of times when you put the grout on, you get like a rounded look there. So you want to
just wipe down, see? The piece got bigger and you see the whole thing. The grout, as
it dries, will become thicker. And if you see here, when I wiped, I pulled away a little.
You can take a little bit more, a little bit of the wet grout, you don't want dry grout,
and just put it back. Press it in again, and then continue to clean off the individual
pieces. It's just a matter of going around and, you know, it's just a little bit of a
fussy job. You go around and smooth the grout in between and clean off the individual pieces
of the mosaic until it's pretty smooth and clean. You can also do with a damp sponge;
just kind of wipe it off like this. And that will also get you a similar result. You can
see, just wiping off the with a damp sponge. You don't want a wet sponge, because that
will wet the grout too much. Just a damp sponge. And you see the design coming out a little
better now. The wet sponge is also good for doing these beads. And don't worry about the
haze of grout that you're going to get over the beads. At the end, we'll polish it up
and the beads will shine nicely.
