There's something about putting your heart and soul
into something creative and having it displayed in front of
you and the people you love.
When you make something and you have no idea what people will think about it and so,
there's definitely uncertainty.
That moment when you see your piece is kind of where you let yourself
be proud of what you did.
The models have to get there in the early morning and
they get styled. So they get their hair and makeup done.
You're clipping strings and you're making sure everything fits
and you're making sure that everyone has double stick tape where they need it.
Are their shoes falling off? All those sort of things that you need to negotiate
in the last minute to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Once they let doors open, that's kind of when all hell breaks loose.
The moment that the house doors close, it gets a little bit quiet
and the house lights go down, and everyone take their seats.
That's kinda the deep breath, that's the moment
you're standing on the bridge and you know that you're going to jump.
