This posture here is very relaxing for the entire body. Just bring your knees in towards
you and lift your feet up towards the ceiling. Many people take the hands right behind the
leg to lengthen the leg. You want to point those toes right up toward the ceiling. So,
you want to feel the connection between the toes and the hips and then release the arms
and let the fingers reach up. Release the shoulders so they come down, release the hips
so they relax, but reach up with fingers and reach up with toes. Now, breathe in deep through
your nose. On the exhale feel your shoulders and the hips relax, feel the toes and fingers
elongate, breathe in deep through your nose and exhale. Another deep breathe in and exhale
and another deep breathe in. And exhale; keep the breath deep from the nose to the belly,
reaching with fingers and reaching with toes and once again deep breath in. You want to
feel the full leg extension of the arms extend and then exhale and then release. Bring the
hands and feet right down again.
