If you are in business you absolutely want to be on
Pinterest Hi, my name is Sue B. Zimmerman.
And I am here in sunny Tampa, Florida, just soaking up the
sunshine, having a great time.
And I quickly wanted to share with you why Pinterest is one
of my favorite social platforms.
Number one, you backlink everything you pin.
So for example, this YouTube video is
pinable back to YouTube.
So if you're trying to grow your subscribers--
like I am--
you want to bring people back to YouTube.
So hopefully they'll love what you're sharing and they'll
want to subscribe.
The backlink not only takes you to places like YouTube,
but it will take you to your website, to your blog, or if
you do SlideShare presentations it
can take you there.
And you can grow those networks from Pinterest.
Because if people like what you're pinning, and your
backlinks are taking them to another platform, they may
want to just click in and start following you on those
platforms as well.
Number two, you get to have another place to write a bio
about your business.
And in that bio, you should use rich, meta tags that
describe your business.
You can also link your website, your Twitter handle,
and your Facebook page right here in Pinterest.
So you want to make sure you get all those links there so
people can find you elsewhere if they like what you're doing
on Pinterest.
And number three, is you want to get your hash tag on.
You want to use hash tags in the descriptions of the boards
and in the descriptions of your pins so that people can
search and follow keywords and hopefully find you.
So come follow my boards.
I am SueBDo on Pinterest.
And hopefully I will see you and your pin soon.
Thanks.
