So shoutout to fifa11skillsfan(leechimane) on this one. He contacted me via twitter and
asked if I would share my thoughts on the whole 30fps with Titanfall. You can find his
YouTube Channel in the description. Here's what he asked “I want to get ur thoughts
on Titanfall running at 30fps From what Ive read it allows for better graphics but less
fluidity.” My thoughts. In all honesty Frames per second isn't a big deal. Really it's not.
And i'll explain it to you in a way that is common place within or video watching lives.
Did you know that the gameplay your watching right now on this video is actually 24 fps?
Yep it is! Did you know that all the Hollywood movies are shot at 24fps? Yep they are. Did
you know that when you shoot a film segment for slow motion you shoot at 60fps? Yep, you
do. Did you know YouTube video player doesn't go above 30fps? Now you know. Frames per second
has become such a big deal lately. I remember looking on the back of the box on the God
Of War HD Collection and it was bragging on it's 60fps capabilities. How small. Do you
PC game? If you do ...do you really notice a huge difference between 30 or 60fps. No
not really. I mean don't get me wrong 60fps has it's uses! In film! But other than that...at
the current time. It's not really that big of a deal! Why all this 30 vs 60fps is becoming
such a huge this is, purely a console war thing. Compare compare compare compare. Things
that do matter to me! Because I record my game footage! Is native 1080p. That's such
a huge deal. Everytime you check quality on this video you're going to see 720p. I stopped
stretching the footage in post to 1080p because it looks awful on YouTube. So don't worry
about frame rates. It's really nothing to be weary of. If you PC game make sure you
don't drop below 30fps on your new games. If you do...time to purchase some new hardware.
Alright I'll see you guys later!
