bjbj The Return of the Nephilim Scripture states the flood in Genesis was a worldwide
flood, destroying all life upon the earth, including the Nephilim. However, the Return
of the Nephilim are seen after the flood, occupying many kingdoms and much of the ancient
landscape. As it was in the days of Noah these Nephilim were once again upon the face of
the earth. Their fallen angelic parents, wreaked havoc upon the earth, mankind, nature, animals,
and all of God's creation. The Nephilim were the primary reason for the flood, to wipe
out all corruption that had spread throughout the earth. Nobody but Noah and his family,
survived. It is in the wilderness where the Nephilim are once again encountered by Gods
chosen people. Moses and the Israelites wondered in the wilderness. Strangers with no home.
"Then the Lord spoke to Moses saying, 'Send out for yourself men so that they may spy
out the land of Canaan, which I am going to give to the sons of Israel; you shall send
a man from each of their fathers tribes, every one a leader among them." The spies received
very specific instructions for their mission. They were to spy out the land thoroughly,
for the strength of the people and their cities. When the spies returned, the whole congregation
of Israel came out to hear their report. "Nevertheless, the people who live in the land are strong,
and the cities are fortified and very large; and moreover, we saw the descendants of Anak
there." "But the men who had gone up with him said, 'We are not able to go up against
the people, for they are too strong for us.....There also we saw the Nephilim (the sons of Anak
are part of the Nephilim) and we became like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were
in their sight." (Sonic Librarian - panamystic) The Nephilim have returned. These Nephilim
were a separate tribe called the Anakim. Anak and his descendants were just one branch of
the Nephilim in the post flood world. The spies report to Moses that Amalek is living
in the Negev. Hittites, Jebusites, and Amorites dwell in the hill country. The Canaanites
live by the Sea and the Jordan River. The Nephilim had integrated themselves into other
cities across the lands, while other kingdoms were ruled by greater empires of Nephilim
Kings like Og and Sihon. Arba was also one such Nephilim who ruled the area of Hebron.
He is said to be the greatest of all the Anakim. As after he conquered Hebron, he renamed it
after himself. throughout the ages other kings have followed suit, naming conquered cities
after themselves. Numbers talks of the great size of these people as well as their fierce
strength and combat capabilities. According to the bible the spies return saying. 'all
the people whom we saw in it are men of great size' Deuteronomy 2 says "The Emim lived there
formerly, a people as great, numerous, and tall as the Anakim. Like the Anakim, they
are also regarded as Rephaim, but the Moabites call them Emim." "It is also regarded as the
land of the Rephaim, for Rephaim formerly lived in it, but the Ammonites call them Zamzummin,
a people as great, numerous, and tall as the Anakim, but the Lord destroyed them before
them. And they dispossessed them and settled in their land." Again, the wickedness of people
associated with the Nephilim drives God to destroy them. These were an exceedingly, and
perpetually, wicked people, intent on defying God and His statutes. In fact, Joshua is ordered
to exterminate them from the land. They are to be utterly destroyed, and completely wiped
off the face of the earth. Joshua, however, falls short of complete extermination, though
he does reduce their influence significantly, confining them to three cities. Joshua 11:22
tells how Joshua drove the Anakim from the land of Israel, and confined them to the cities
of Gaza, Gath, and Ashdod, all Philistine cities. Goliath, the giant slain by David,
hailed from Gath. He was the Philistine champion The Identity of The Nephilim Like the bible,
the book of Enoch another historical book, very much in debate by many scholars talks
of the Nephilim and their rise in ancient times. The corruption that is spread from
their parents who once ruled in heavenly places. The 200 watchers led by Samyaza and ***
were responsible for the wickedness that spread rapidly corrupting the earth. These angels
and their brethren, shed their holiness and clothed themselves in flesh falling into temptations
of sin. The Dead Sea Scrolls provide a physical description of one of the Watchers. In the
Testament of Amram, the father of Moses, a Chief Angel of Darkness is described I saw
Watchers in my vision, a dream vision, and behold two of them argued about me [...] and
they were engaged in a great quarrel concerning me. I asked them: "You, why do you argue thus
about me?" They answered and said to me: "We have been made masters and rule over the sons
of men." And they said to me: "Which of us do you choose? "His looks were frightening
like those of a viper, and his garments were multi-coloured and he was extremely dark..."
The kingdom of Og the Rephaim. Og and Sihon, king of Gilead, were feared warriors and monarchs
prior to the Israelite's entrance into Canaan. Though Sihon is not said to have been a giant
in Scripture, he was most certainly associated with the Rephaim. Rabbinic literature states
Og and Sihon were brothers. Sihon was the mightiest of the two, and the Midrash states
he was the equivalent of Og in bravery and stature. These ancient rabbis also listed
Og and Sihon as grandsons of Shamhazai. These ancient documents also associate Sihon as
the king of Arad, described as "the Canaanite" in Numbers 21:1. Sihon was called "the Canaanite"
because he was the overlord of all the land. Many kingdoms throughout Canaan paid him tribute.
His capital lay in Trans-Jordan, yet, he possessed many territories and vassals in Canaan. This
is astounding evidence that the Nephilim were still dominant, and exerting a mighty influence
upon the land of Canaan. Alexander The Great According to rabbinical teaching and history,
Alexander the great during his conquest to Egypt passed through the Land of Israel in
323 BC. Prior to this time the nation of Israel had faced many great victories as well as
defeats. Whenever the nation of Israel began worshipping false idols, the covering of God
left them and as a result they were defeated or taken under rule from other nations and
empires. As Alexander marched onwards from another victory, he sent a message to Jerusalem,
demanding the taxes and tributes being sent to him instead of the Persian empire. The
reply was disappointing and enraged the young general. Alexander changed course to Jerusalem,
set on laying waste to the city. As news reached the city of Jerusalem fear and panic spread.
The High Priest Jaddua and some of the other religious leaders began to pray to God for
intervention and help. The city had no king since King Zedekiah during 600 BC and no viable
army to defend itself. God returned with instructions and a reply to the High Priest Jaddua. He
was told to dress in his Priestly garments and greet Alexander outside the city walls.
Jaddua readied everything as he had been told, and when Alexander's army came closer, the
long line of priests set themselves along the road in their best priest's garb and Jaddua
himself stood in the middle of the road and behind them the city of Jerusalem. Unbeknownst
to Jews at the time, Alexander would be the single most prominent gentile foreigner influence
on the development of Judaism. Alexander came over a hill at the head of his great army,
seeing the assembled line of priests and Jaddua. To his men his demeanour seemed to change.
He signalled that they would wait, and he would go on alone. He silenced his army and
rode forward. Dismounting, he approached the High Priest of God and to the disbelief of
his men he fell to the ground in front of Jaddua and appeared to worship him. When Alexander
saw the high priest, he reverenced God and saluted Jaddua; while the Jews with one voice
greeted Alexander. Then, after a time he was raised up and greeted, and the city acclaimed
him loudly, and brought him in. He was even brought into the temple area by Jaddua. Alexander
then gave the high priest his right hand, and went into the Temple and "offered sacrifice
to God according to the high priest's direction," treating the whole priesthood magnificently.
" And when the Book of Daniel was shown to him, wherein Daniel declared that one of the
Greeks should destroy the empire of the Persians, he supposed that he was the person intended,
and rejoiced at it. The following day Alexander asked the people what favours he should grant
them; and, at the high priest's request, he accorded them the right to live in full enjoyment
of the laws of their forefathers. He, furthermore, exempted them from the payment of tribute
in the seventh year of release. To the Jews of Babylonia and Media also he granted like
privileges; and to the Jews who were willing to enlist in his army he promised the right
to live in accordance with their ancestral laws Alexander granted them this and more,
and then departed with his army. When Parmenio, a general, gave expression to the army's surprise
at Alexander's extraordinary act 'that one who ought to be adored by all as king should
adore the high priest of the Jews' Alexander explained, Some years ago in a period of time
when he was much concerned about what strategies and plans might one day allow him to defeat
the mighty Persian empire, he had a dream while sleeping in a city called Dios. A strangely
dressed foreigner appeared to him in this dream and explained that he need not worry,
for God would be with him in his campaigns, and ensure him victory wherever he went, and
against the Persians. That dream, Alexander explained, had encouraged him, and always
remained with him. "For I saw this very person in a dream, in this very habit, when I was
at Dios in Macedonia, who, when I was considering with myself how I might obtain dominion of
Asia, exhorted me to make no delay, but boldly to pass over the sea, promising that he would
conduct my army, and would give me the dominion over the Persians." He explained that he had
been worshipping not the man, but the man's God, when he fell to the dirt in humility.
The dream he had was a vision of the Holy most High God whom the Jews worship. And there
I saw the One to Whom belongs the time before time, and His head was white like wool. With
Him was another being, whose countenance had the appearance of a man, and his face was
full of graciousness, like one of the holy angels. I asked the angel `who went with me
[...] concerning that son of and who he was, and whence he was, and why he went with the
One to Whom belongs the time before time. He answered and said to me: 'This is the son
of man who has righteousness, with whom dwells righteousness, and who reveals all the treasures
of that which is hidden, because the Lord of the spirits has chosen him, and whose lot
has the pre-eminence before the Lord of the spirits in uprightness for ever. This son
of man whom you have seen shall raise up the kings and the mighty from their seats and
the strong from their thrones, and shall loosen the reins of the strong and break the teeth
of the sinners.'(1 Enoch 46.1-4) And at that hour that Son of Man was named in the presence
of the Lord of the spirits, and his name before the the One to Whom belongs the time before
time. Yes, before the sun and the signs were created, before the stars of the heaven were
made, his name was named before the Lord of the spirits. He shall be a staff to the righteous
whereon to stay themselves and not fall, and he shall be the light of the gentiles and
the hope of those who are troubled of heart. All who dwell on earth shall fall down and
worship before him, and will praise and bless and celebrate with song the Lord of the spirits.
For this reason has he been chosen and hidden before Him, before the creation of the world
and for ever more. The wisdom of the Lord of the spirits has revealed him to the holy
and righteous; for he has preserved the lot of the righteous, because they have hated
and despised this world of unrighteousness, and have hated all its works and ways in the
name of the Lord of the spirits: for in his name they are saved, and according to his
good pleasure has it been in regard to their life. In these days downcast in countenance
shall the kings of the earth have become, and the strong who possess the land because
of the works of their hands, for on the day of their anguish and affliction they shall
not be able to save themselves. And I will give them over into the hands of My elect:
as straw in the fire so shall they burn before the face of the holy, as lead in the water
shall they sink before the face of the righteous, and no trace of them shall any more be found.
And on the day of their affliction there shall be rest on the earth, and before them they
shall fall and not rise again. There shall be no one to take them with his hands and
raise them, for they have denied the Lord of the spirits and His Messiah. The name of
the Lord of the spirits be blessed. 1 Enoch 48.2-10 gdOI gdsN gd(g gdOI m_mTxTmTmTmTmTm
