- Viral marketing.
This is a really quick, easy slide,
and it shows the difference.
You have the organization.
You send out something like a direct mail piece--
this is traditional marketing-- to the prospect.
So it's a solicitation of interest.
The prospect then, hopefully, if you've done a good job,
gives you a response.
But here's the difference.
That's no longer good enough for us.
I don't want to send out a direct mail piece
and get an order in the door.
What I want to do is send out a piece.
You get an order in the door,
and then have that prospect one infect everybody else like H1N1.
Right?
That's my goal.
If that third piece doesn't happen,
we haven't succeeded.
