Hi guys! This is Eva from Bay Harbour Med Spa! And today, I want to talk to all of you
out there in particularly young girls. Teenagers. Fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen. In
your twenties. To all of you out there, that experiencing hair growth from the umbilical
button. Down. To your *** area. I know that a lot of you wonder why you have this hair
line going down, and you friends don't have that. Well, I could divide this into categories
and I could tell you that some acne backgrounds actually have this as part of their background
as part of their genetic being. I for instance can tell you that I have seen many many woman
who have darker complexion such as Indian woman, Pakistani woman. Some Middle Eastern
woman. Some Italian woman. That are darker. That have this line that goes from the umbilical
button all the way down to the *** area. Those that have this but I would say mostly
if I would look the one's that really stick in my mind that I visually can see Indian
woman. It's actually quite common in darker Indian woman to have this. It's just part
of their genetic being. But for a lot of other woman, and for a lot of other girls who have
this suddenly and their friends or their siblings might not have that. It's not necessarily
a genetic makeup. It can be a sign of hormonal imbalance. Very often young girls that get
these hair that are white, or light skinned, and get these hairs from their umbilical button
going down. Will experience also hairs on their lower back like here. This part. Lower
back. And will also experience very often some heavy underarm hair growth. Heavy and
hard, dark, hairs on their legs and at times a mustache upper lip and at times also some
hairs on the chin. For those of you that have this problem it's most likely, I can't say
a hundred percent because I don't see you in front of me, I don't see your blood work
in front of me, but most likely that is a hormonal balance. Sometimes it can be genetic,
sometimes it can be hereditary. But for instance I can tell you, I am white, I don't have hair
on my body. I have normal hair, you know? Like any European person, Eastern European
person would have. But contrary, my daughter happens to have a father who was hairy. She
inherited from his side, from his genetics, hairs and she suffered from excessive hair
growth which was part of, there was a combination that is also important to know, sometimes
it can be a combination. She inherited partially it was an inherited problem from the other
side of the family, from the father's side of the family. And it was also a hormonal
imbalance. She had both issues. So she had genetically inherited from a darker pigmented
skinned man, which remember I said, Indian so Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and so forth,
black will have this and white will not have it so it can very often be that people can,
you know, can have one parent, like in my case doesn't have it and the other parent
has it and the child inherits it from the other parent and it's only genetic. And again
to my mind, Indian, Indian woman come to my mind. For them it's genetic. It's inherited,
but it's genetic. Just in their makeup. It's not so much hormonal. And then there are cases
like my daughter where it is inherited but it's hormonal as well. So what's the answer?
Well the final solution is laser hair removal. The final solution to get rid of this hair,
from the umbilical button from the hair line going down, the lower back, and anywhere,
underarms, mustache, chin, laser hair removal is the only way you can get rid of it permanently,
for good, forever. However, when this happens when you're fourteen, and fifteen, and you
start seeing this and you say, "Why, like myself?" And you start seeing this, well then,
what I would recommend that you ask your parents because you are still a teenager and you are
still a minor, to take you to an endocrinologist and to do blood work and to check hormones.
And you want the endocrinologist to check all the hormones possible to check. Your endocrine
system. Your thyroid as well. Your pituitary gland, everything that they can check they
should check to see whether this is hormonally related, whether there is an imbalance of
hormones, and at times if you do it at a younger age, if you do it when you see it and you,
if you're this perfect example that I give you if you're like me or if your mother is
like me and she doesn't have it and you have it but you have a father who is darker and
you inherited it and you know you are pretty much okay there. It is probably inherited,
it might be a little bit hormonal but not necessarily. But if none of that is the case
and there is only a situation of sudden having hairs, I would wholeheartedly recommend getting
blood work done, hormonal checkup and see if something is odd. Because one thing leads
to the other thing and you guys might not understand it but believe me, hormones are
if not the most important part of all existence of our being and if our hormones are not working
properly, it's horrible. For instance your thyroid. If your thyroid is not working properly.
You've heard of people who have overworking or under-working thyroid. You can be either
very skinny or you can gain a lot of weight because you don't even eat because your thyroid
is not functioning. Thyroid is divided actually into four. Other parts of the thyroid are
not functioning you can become depressed. You can even become suicidal. You grow hairs
because it sort of one links to the other. And has an effect on a hair growth as well
because it has effect on other hormones in the body. Because everything is combined.
So you want to check it out with an endocrinologist would be the best person to check it out.
And endocrinologist can be everything and then you take it from there. And you address
it and if it's necessary you take hormones or usually this will be hormones that are
given either thyroid or birth control or something in that to balance, to balance the hormones,
and sometimes if you find it early, if you are fourteen or fifteen you also suffer from
heavy periods and you have this excessive hair, you might have other issues, not only
a hormone imbalance, but that hormone imbalance might lead to other issues, and you might
have ovarian cysts. You might have endometriosis. You might have a lot of other things that
are related directly to this problem of that hairline because it's an indication because
of normal circumstances. White people should not have this hairline. From the umbilical
button going all the way down to the *** area. It shouldn't be. So, and if it is it's
normally an indication being wrong, so I can only suggest you see an endocrinologist. I
can only speak of all the possibilities. I happen to know a lot about it from my own
family style and from the problems that I went through with my daughter, therefore,
I personally recommend every mother, every sister, every adult, that is listening to
this YouTube Video and you do have a niece or a granddaughter or a daughter or a sister,
or you are a child itself that has this problem. I suggest that you, you, you make all the
necessary step to take that person to the endocrinologist and have it checked out and
make sure that it is going to balance. Balance for the hormones so the hormones are not off.
And to get rid of it. The only way to get rid of it permanently is with laser hair removal.
So I touch a little bit on the subject but I know some people ask me about it so why
we get these lying down there. So I had to elaborate about it a little bit more and let
you know why it's happening. As I said, some people, some ethnic backgrounds have it and
it's genetically like this. But for some people it's not okay. And it's a horned job. It a
red light that something is off or it's coming to be off and this is one of the implications.
So until next time, thank you, next time, bye bye! Eva!
