Hi! Like to tell about the best dog i ever had
over the years i had numerous dogs
German Shepherds, Boarder Collies and cross breds
but best dog i ever had was a Sheltie
usually very affectionate
they grow to be thirteen to sixteen inched in height
she weighed eighteen pounds
she was tremendously bright and sensitive
and she was willing to please
these qualities made her a quick and obedient learner
she was very protective of the family
our rescue started when went to get a puppy
upon arrival the puppies were under the house
and had to be pulled out
with the exception of one
this female pup tried to hide in a corner and was trying to stay away from us
after a period of time we able to get her out
she was loaded with fleas and we felt sorry for her
so we purchased her
once at home she received a flea shampoo and brushing
the first week she sat in the corner of the kitchen hardly ever moved
she would cower down whenever somebody approached her or tried to pet her
the second week she came out of her shell alittle
still very unfriendly she would walk around the house watching us
the third week she started to play alittle with us
Aerial was extremely smart
you can teach her something in 2 or 3 trys
very easy to house break
when she had to go outside she stand by the door a waited
for someone to let her out
sometimes i wonder if
while training her - she wasn't training us
if she was good during her bath she would get treat
she would let you know if she didn't get treat
if she wanted your attention she would come over place her head in your hand
and look at you
once she got your attention she was off to where the kids were
yes she was looking for some kind of reassurance
she loved to see under the covers with my son or at the foot end of my daughters bed
we found Aerial to be a great love
she all our hearts
she lived to be 13 1/2 years old
this is memory of the best dog i ever had " Aerial"
she deeply missed
