Hi, I'm Rebecca Guenther, with www.M5A1photography.com, and I'm here to talk to you about some photography
careers in the film industry. Now, when you're in the film industry obviously the cameramen
with the motion picture cameras are going to be the focus; however, there are background
jobs that are needed. First of all, all actors and actresses need what are called headshots,
so that's something that you could do before anyone even gets to set. Then, there are also
jobs on set where you're photographing the actual making of the movie, and these are
called production stills. This is to show; sometimes it's to keep in mind where the lights
were, or what was going on in a certain scene, but most likely, it's just catching the actors
and actresses interacting, and usually while they're on break as well, and it'll get put
into a book at the end that all of the film crew and all of the actors will probably get
to look at. Then, after that there's also; somewhat outside, but I still think part of
the film industry is the paparazzi. We all know what they do, and that can be a pretty
exciting career in and of itself; following around celebrities, and knowing who's who,
and who's going where. And those are just a couple of careers in the film industry.
