You know many clients struggle today with vendor maintenance contracts and software
agreements, and they don't know where to turn to for help.
A great example is Cisco Smartnet. And often these clients are approached by other resellers
to migrate their contracts over only to find out the other reseller didn't simplify anything.
They just migrated that contract clutter over to a portal and all that chaos remains.
Here at DPSciences, we specialize in cleaning up contract clutter.
As a matter of fact, we have been doing this over a decade. By consolidating multiple maintenance
contracts, across multiple different manufacturers, into a single agreement with a single expiration
date, we're able to drastically reduce the pain and the costs that are associated with
maintenance contracts.
We then apply our human touch, which is our dedicated team of experts that will manage
and maintain all of the contract details throughout the term, further simplifying our client's
experience.
Now we have a portal too, however, the difference again is that human touch. Our team will research,
validate, and then consolidate all of these agreements before loading them into our portal.
Speaking of on-line tools, I recently ran across a website that allowed clients to purchase
their Smartnet online. So let's say I'm a client and I've got a 3560 switch that I need
to renew my support for. I'll go online and put in the 3560 and the tool pops up with
14 different versions of a 3560. Typically, clients aren't sure of which one they have.
Furthermore, there's 8 different service levels for all 14 of these. That's 112 different
choices that a client would have to try to go through!
Now, being industry experts around Cisco Smartnet, we realize that in order to cover a Cisco
device properly you have to have an exact valid serial number.
No where on here do I see anything about a serial number. So, from a client's perspective,
I'd be worried about covering the right device, at the right service level and will I even
get support since my serial numbers not being validated?
So if you're truly looking for a better, more simple alternative to managing Cisco Smartnet
and other maintenance agreements, pick up the phone and give us a call. Let us show
you how simply better IT can help make your contracts better.
