Hi, my name is Ahmed Salah. I was born in Sohage in Upper Egypt.
When I was 17 years old, I wrote some articles and studies for a few local newspapers.
But then I left my hometown to live, study and then to work in Cairo.
I have studied photography, cinematography and TV production at the faculty of applied arts.
After I graduated, I worked as a cameraman and lighting director for the Eyptian national TV.
But, I couldn't love this official work.
So I left it to work for a news agency as a cameraman, editor and sometimes producer.
I covered many stories in Egypt, Pakistan, Dubai, and even in Chad.
Also, I worked for many globalized news channels, from CNN to Al-Jazeera.
In my early age, I thought that being a journalist, this is the best way to know what happens correctly.
But later, when I worked for a news agency and covered many stories in Egypt or abroad,
the main idea that remains in my mind.
Actually, there is more than one truth.
This is why I liked to join the video journalist movement.
