Here's everything you'll need to make your romantic dark chocolate fondue dessert. First,
you need a fondue pot and these fondue pots are surprisingly affordable and you can find
them at most any store that sells small kitchen appliances. What I like about this set is
that it comes with all the forks and you can see that the forks are color-coded on the
end. So if you tell people no double-dipping then they each keep their color-coded fork
and you don't spread germs around. Then we have the chocolate and this is special chocolate
that's for fondue because it's called dipping chocolate. You don't want to use just any
old chocolate from a bar because this has special ingredients to make it smooth and
melt-able. We also have strawberries and you can take the tips of the strawberries, the
little green part off, or leave it on. But, I like to leave it on because I think it's
sweet and romantic-looking. We have pineapples and I've left them in triangles, but you can
make them cubes, take the rind off, whatever you like. And, of course, we have our bananas,
an old standby. And Granny Smith apples, but you can use any kind of apple. I like the
contrast between the tart and the sweet chocolate. And we have angel food cake for your angel.
