Hi everyone, today I will show you
how to make banana pancakes. Here is the final product,
it should be soft and tasty.
Please have a bite!
Now, let's start by adding 2 tablespoon of flour
into a cup or
a mixing bowl
1/8th a tablespoon of baking powder
2 teaspoons of sugar,
1/8th a
tablespoon of salt.
I'm adding some dry milk in here because I
don't have milk, but if you do then skip this step :)
1 tablespoon of
oatmeal, half a tablespoon of granola
one-and-a-half tablespoon of flax seed
half a tablespoon of pumpkin seed. I'm adding half a cup of water because
I added dry milk earlier, but if you do have milk then add milk
Now chunk in half a banana
close the lid and
we're gonna mix it up. I have a magic bullet
so it makes things easier. If you don't
then find out some way to smash it. Good luck with that!
Here's a consistency we are looking for
not too thick, not too thin
but, uhm, I mean, depends on your taste
right?
Now with the other half of the banana, I'm slicing it
into thin pieces
This will do the trick. In a saucepan
add in some oil, wait for it to be hot
The heat should be medium heat
And I'm adding half of the mixture. We're making one serving
in this recipe. I know, I'm living by myself
DON'T JUDGE!!
If you have more people then just multiply
it by 2 or 3 the amount of the ingredients
Now here's a magic trick. When the mixture is still
not cooked, we add in our thinly sliced banana
It's gonna make such a
beautiful presentation later on
Now, for the first side of the pancake,
we're gonna heat it in medium-low heat for 1 min or
until we can lift
up the pancake easily all around
Here I'm just checking it. There you go
So something like that and you can slide the pancake pretty easily
and I'm gonna turn the side now (meaning: turn it upside down)
It helps if you tilt the pan a little
Look how nice it is on that side!
So the side with the bananas will be a little tricky because the banana tends to stick
to the pan. If that's the case
then just use the spatula to scrape it off
Now, we're gonna heat that side for
20 secs
We flip it again after 20 secs
It should look REALLY good like that
Look how pretty it is! I just can't get over how pretty it is!
Now you can transfer that to a plate
mmmmmmmm, let's see the other side
one more time. Such a nice looking pancake!
now we can add some raspberry spread on top
and there you go, your banana pancake!
Good luck!
