Top three skills, you have to be able to communicate and that is written and verbal. The biggest
thing you need to work on is your written communication skills initially, don't 'text
speak' in emails, it's completely unacceptable. The other two skills, being able to actually
be there in the moment, so what I find as a recruiter is a lot of candidates come and
they're not genuinely there in the moment, they're thinking about other things and you
can see it. It's really, really obvious so if you're actually looking for a role, when
you're at the interview or the assessment centre, really be there.
