My name is Barbara Esses and I do events for a living. I'm Ruthie Hecht; I'm an event planner
and I work with and for my mother. We're going to teach you the do's and don'ts for the perfect
wedding. Most weddings today are a four to six hour event. Everything else in the night
is really not something you can plan or that's absolutely expected because you never know
how a crowd takes off and how music affects the event. It's really wonderful to have a
photographer whose very spry, very good on his feet and right on top of you most of the
night, although in an unobtrusive manner because there will be smiles and hugs and dances with
friends and relatives that you want to have. So, it's important to know how many hours
a photographer's going to stay and be sure that the photographer's there for the entire
event so they can get the candid shots of the bride and groom and the family and the
responses to the speeches during the event so that, when it's over, you have captured
the entire evening and you have pictures that create a lifelong memory.
