Hi this is Cable for Expert Village. We're talking about animation basics and we created
our first flip book. Now this is just a beginning step into getting in to animation. There is
much more to it. It gets much more complicated. If you're interested in knowing more there
are great resources available to help you. Some great books that I've found that I would
recommend Drawing for Animation by Hedgepeth and Misall. Life Drawing by Stone. Visual
Storytelling by Arnold and Eddie. Acting for Animators by Hooks. Exploring Storyboarding
by Tuenllo. The Animator's Workbook by Tony White. Cartoon Animation by Preston Blair.
The Animator's Survival Kit, Richard Williams. Hollywood 2D animation by Corso. The Art of
Cartooning with Flash by Kuramato, Lieb and Gray. And of course don't forget the most
important resource is your sketchbook and keep drawing and keep it filled. There are
also dozens and dozens of other sites online. AWN.com is a great resource for all things
animation. Don't forget to use search engines online. Thanks.
