The Bi-Colored Cobra is very similar to the Regular Cobra.
The difference is that with the Bi-Colored Cobra you use three pieces of gimp instead
of two, and they start and end slightly differently.
I'll show you how to make this in this video.
So let's get started. You will need three pieces of gimp,
one shorter piece and two longer pieces that are both the same length.
My shorter piece is 8 inches long.
My longer pieces are each 20 inches long.
Start by taking all three pieces and tie a knot at one end.
Once you have your knot, you can start making Cobra stitches.
For every single one of these stitches I'll do the same thing.
I'll take the green strand, bring it out in front,
bring the blue strand in front of the green strand,
and then bring it around the back and up through the green loop.
So green in front every time.
If you want to make this into a keychain,
then as you get closer to the end of your short piece,
bend it to make a loop and start making stitches over the strand.
Once you've done eight stitches over the short piece,
slowly pull on it to hide the part that's sticking out.
Once you've hidden the white strand by pulling on the loop,
you can keep making stitches if you want to go farther down the loop.
I've made four stitches after pulling on the white strand.
But once you are ready to finish,
tie a knot in each of the strands.
Then take out the knot at the beginning.
Then cut off the excess gimp and you are done with the Bi-Colored Cobra.
