Tony: just talk a little about video and the direction it's heading with content marketing,
and the importance and that sort of thing.
Joe: you know, when I think about video. I think about user behavior. We know they like
imagery and they engage with video, and that's what we know. So we know this, and we know
that's the trend. We've got to have our heads underneath the ground if we don't know that's
happening and it's true.
What do we know about our content and our organization? It's mostly textual. It's mostly
not engaging. It mostly does not have imagery around it, so we have some things to make
up for. We know this is what they want and this is what we have, and that's a big gab
we have to figure out how we're going to fill.
But if I'm a business owner and a senior level marketer, and I'm not living and breathing
by how my customers are engaging in content, I've got a problem. And you can say in almost
every market, they're engaging in video. They're engaging in some sort of content that has
some kind of a visual storytelling component, so I'm not doing my job as a marketer if I'm
not paying attention to that.
