If you're not going to Gothenburg for the summer, you can go to a New-Age
Festival in Värmland. The festival is called the No Mind festival, located
north of Molkom. "I've already booked that". Oh, you've done that? A few years
ago a British documentary team were there and made documentary about the festival.
People go to this small festival to meditate, occupy themselves with poweryoga,
tantra sex, they hug trees, and they find themselves through different new age methods
The British film team followed an Austrailian who did not like this environment at all.
He's a backpacker and he does not understand at all where he has ended up. This
environment is only but frustrating for him. As a viewer, you get sympathy for this man,
because this is a very weird environment to be in, and you laugh at all these hippies.
When you think things couldnt get more strange, Regina Lund(Swedish actress, amongst other
things appears and starts readings poems. "For real?"
For real. This is a documentary. It was a big hit at the Gothenburg film festival
but hasn't been shown on Swedish television, and
And I haven't been able to find a Swedish DVD of it either. Strangely enough , since it is very moving and funny.
