Welcome to the St. George Campus at the University of Toronto!
The St. George Campus is located right in the heart of downtown Toronto.
With your admission to the Faculty of Arts and Science, you have been accepted to one
of seven colleges.
When looking at a map it helps to divide the campus into West, Central and East.
You’ll see references to these sections when choosing and planning your course timetable.
Your courses will be located all over campus regardless of which college you belong to
or what types of courses you’re studying.
The colleges are spread out across campus: Innis and New College are located in the West
section of campus; Woodsworth, Trinity and University College in the Central section;
Victoria and St. Michael’s College are located in the East section.
The first time you are on campus, be sure to visit your college and have a look around.
Your college Registrar’s office is your ‘reliable first stop’ for any and all
questions you may have.
The campus is bordered on the north by Bloor St., on the east by Bay St., on the south
by College St. and on the west by Spadina Avenue. It is accessible by street cars and
also five different subway stations. Although the campus looks big, you can easily walk
from one end to the other within 10 to 15 minutes.
The two other locations highlighted on the map are Robarts Library where you will obtain
your TCard, or student card, and the information you need to set up your utoronto.ca email
address, required for all university correspondence.
The other is the Koffler student centre which contains the Bookstore as well as many other
student services such as the Housing service, Career Centre and Health Services.
There are other ways you can find your way around campus. One way is to take the tour
through the Nona McDonald visitors Centre if you’re on campus before Orientation Week.
The other way option is to go to Orientation Week yourself and information about that will
be provided to you through your College.
Lastly, there are several Interactive Maps online that show things like where to park
and find food.
If you still have questions, please feel free to contact your college Registrar.
