Chinandega was recently celebrating and not for its supervisory celebrations but because
it hosted national and foreign tourists, since for another year
the Hawksbill turtle festival was held. By the way this is an endangered species
and as a part of the activities, 150 hawksbill hatchlings,
an endangered species as I said, were released into the Estero Padre Ramos
natural reserve in Chinandega as part of the activities of this fourth festival.
El Salvador and Nicaragua are home to two of the last refuges and most of the 500
remaining hawksbill turtles in the eastern Pacific.
The hawksbill turtle inhabits tropical waters of several oceans and reaches almost 1 meter in length and over 50 kilos in weight.
Here you'll see large influx of tourists because they come to see the turtles
here you'll see more influx of tourists because there's peace and tranquility
here you'll see large influx of national and foreign tourists because it's a nice place
worth seeing with gorgeous beaches and besides that, the people.
