Hi Nanaki, hello everybody We're back today to comment the 2013 GT Fusion
Hi everyone, Nanaki speaking, and I'm with Mytserious, the pro
4th round, the GT5 world championship Yes, another year of GT Fusion, another year
of racing Another year of good fights and show on track
and today, round 4, which took place on Tokyo reverse because round 4 occured during the
Tokyo Game Show, and as we know, the GT Fusion staff likes to follow the real gaming and
automotive events Staff who were themselves in Japan
Yes, GT Fusion sent some people to Tokyo, who brought back some GT6 footage, GT6 promising
to be quite awesome, so we're waiting impatiently for its release in December
But for now, we're going on with GT5 Let's go with the race
Oldies but goodies We're going to comment a longer race, the
last one from group B, which was nice, you're going to see that
Tokyo reverse, and the car we have is the Acura NSX RM
Japanese only ! Tokyo reverse : it's a narrow track at some
points, the barriers let no room for mistakes Who says GT Fusion says hard damages, so that's
even less possibility to recover Hard damages plus urban track equals crash
if you're not careful The cars were fully tuned and the tyres were
race hard Full tuning always makes a huge difference,
so let's have an eye on the starting grid If you can present it
Absolutely, so in 1st position we have our friend Pvasquez from team ORMA
A new team in GT Fusion We see them more and more
A few came for round 3 And they're heating the races !
A lot came for round 4, so we saw Pvasquez in pole position, Vicente, the venezuelian
right behind in 2nd Pimiki, the BTH, hungarian
Next, we find Nuno-cristo, the portuguese from team GTOR
Knowing what we see here is the reversed grid from the previous results of the 3rd race,
a short one We saw GRD, the French from team ORC in 5th
position, he's followed by Ajsilva, from team GTOR and, again an ORMA
No, he's a GT Racing, they both share the orange color
So Vtec Bubblepax in 8th position, Belgian, who finished
3rd in the previous race, Valgar who finished 2nd, is starting second to last, he passed
Bubblepax really beautifully at the end of the race
A great overtake And finally Tuesday, co-founder of GT Fusion,
Belgian again, who won the previous short race, which I reminded is on air on Game One during October
So, the race is about to go Nanaki
Beginning of this long race, group B's last race, with GRD onboard cam in 5th position,
who starts pretty well, I don't see any trouble in front
but maybe some opportunities right now
Pvasquez and Vicente side by side, and behind Tuesday and Bubblepax switching positions
Tuesday already gaining a position, bumper cam with GRD trying to sneak in but it's not working
it's tense in front We see in front of him Cristo and Pimiki
I think the positions remained the same but they were neck and neck
Pvasquez immediately giving himself a little safety margin regarding Vicente, Pimiki 3rd,
Cristo 4th, GRD 5th No tragedy for this start
Fortunately, it's a long race, 15 laps, there's going to be a pit stop, tyre wear and fuel
consumption are going to play a lot, you have not to do any old thing, not take too much risks
Evidently while I say that we see them attacking
the fast S which is a critical point of the layout
We're on GRD14, GT Racing just behind, it's very close, while Vasquez took a pretty good advantage
Vasquez pushing in the first lap with Vicente,
I don't know if he's still in the draft, it's hard to tell
We see GRD and Cristo, Pimiki, then Vtec behind, they're doing a bit of a bottleneck
Tuesday onboard here trying to get Valgar on the outside ! That's an unusual place to pass !
His friend from previous race, Bubblepax behind,
for now they can't manage to come back Tuesday started last and he's already 8th,
we're only in the 1st lap, Tuesday attacking AJsilva now, so he's now in 6th position
It seems that Valgar will try also to jump on the occasion, yes, Valgar overtaking, oh,
Tuesday is wide, Valgar who may take advantage on the inside, and they make contact !
Tuesday widening at maximum and manage to close the line in front of Valgar
Nice ! We're seeing a replay : Cristo and GRD who
literally ate Pimiki, or at least they tried Cristo passed but GRD didn't, Pimiki gets 4th
but be careful not to go crashing together GRD gets well on the curb to be as much on
and GRD 5th Onboard cam with Vtec, GRD and Pimiki in front
of him, I have the impression GRD has ants in his pants
the inside as possible, will GRD do it, it's tough here, at braking, it's not finished...
No, GRD succeeds, while it's bumpy here, we see Vtec has lost a position
He can't stand it behind Pimiki, I feel he's blocking everyone
He's driving the elbow on the door A bit wide here, GRD insists, door to door,
Tuesday overtaking everyone ! Tuesday 5th, he overtook Vtec and Pimiki,
and Valgar as well Here's Vtec trying to get rid of Pimiki
Pimiki in distress on this beginning, he lost many positions
Vtec won't make it through because Pimiki still has Valgar's slipstream
Valgar and Tuesday are insanely catching up, especially Tuesday
He's a very young driver, he's 18, very aggressive, very good
Vtec is a bit wide, losing a position to AJsilva So Tuesday, very good, who had some little
issues with impatience and nerves I saw him several times making a slight mistake,
and then follow up with other mistakes from a lack of concentration, but he's improving
on that point, we see he made a good way through Oh, there was a hit here in front, AJsilva
hits the wall and Vtec tries to get his position back
They are side by side, will Vtec be able to move in ? It takes balls !
Vtec gets back 8th. And Bubblepax last
He caught up On the previous race, he was a lot of time
in front but he finally finished 3rd He was slower on time but made less mistakes
That's true, we never saw him overtaking someone during last race
He started first so... And Valgar swerved a bit, maybe because he
touched the opposite wall right before, and he may lose Tuesday's slipstream
He seems to have a slight damage on left front wheel
We see GRD, right on Cristo's tail, maybe on the outside...
From Tuesday's view, GRD on the outside, comes back in...
great pass, GRD takes 3rd position Here's VTEC, completely outside in the 1st corner
Hurry Bubblepax, you have to come back !
A quick look on the rankings : Pvasquez still first, we almost forgot the
two ORMAs leading the race, great performance from the south Americans
Pvasquez, Vicente, GRD 3rd who just took it from Cristo, Tuesday is 5th already
despite starting 10th, 5 positions gained in 3 - 4 laps, Valgar 6th, he also made his way
Watch out, Tuesday is overtaking Nunocristo !
Ho, that was late braking !
I thought he was going to cross back, but no, Nunocristo couldn't reply
so Tuesday is now 4th, that's an outstanding race beginning for him
He keeps going on catching up The ORMAs, we always saw same taking a lot
of risks They're attacking, Pvasquez with a slight
damage on rear right wheel, but the gap with Vicente is stable, he's remaining out of the slipstream
GRD and Tuesday both have a great pace, we'll
see the gap between Pvasquez, 1st and GRD, 3rd :
4 seconds, but GRD took back 3 tenths on the last lap
Let's see what pit strategy they chose In every case, it should be one stop for everyone,
but will they make it on 7th or 8th lap... They have nearly burnt half of their tanks
What we have to keep an eye on is fuel consumption :
the drivers are going to stop, you don't have to refuel completely to get to the end
if you do, you lose a lot of time in the pits so drivers should try to put the least fuel
they can to gain several seconds And to be lighter also
But they'll have to be careful to have enough to finish
That's long races' appeal ! Pvasquez still in front, followed by Vicente,
the gap is stable, and I see at the back on the screen, Tuesday comes on GRD's tail, who
is himself coming back In his mirrors, Nunocristo seems to be further away
Oh, GRD drifts and loses a lot of time on this straight !
He lost 7 or 8 tenth
Tuesday's breath on his neck ! GRD drives fast, he may still be able to pretend
for victory, he caught up on the two ORMAs, slowly but surely
But Tuesday takes this occasion to try something immediately, side by side at braking...
who got more balls ? GRD defends on the outside, GRD's not bad
but Tuesday's good as well, still side by side
Tuesday has the advantage and secure the 3rd position
GRD fought well... he could have been more aggressive to defend,
but that's clever in a long race not to run the risk of crashing
He still tried a bit, we saw it was possible with Graigs on Elmonio in Group A :
he crossed one time and defended on the outside after
Watch, out, Vtec hits the wall ! He's giving big steering inputs now !
He damaged his front right suspension, what a pity, that's not going to help him
We get back to Bubblepax's overtake on Ajsilva, finally he's not last anymore !
GRD is right behind Tuesday He's trying to hold on
He's not really left behind. They're coming to the straight and he's in the slipstream.
Tuesday is a bit faster in the winding section, though
We still see the top 4 ont the same shot, they're not so far from each other
Pvasquez tyres tends to become badly worn out
Plus the rear damage, it's going to be complicated, although it's quite impressive he can stay in the lead
Let's compare : Tuesday, Vicente...
their tyres are in better condition, it's going to be interesting if the leader burns more rubber
GRD also has better front tyres than Pvasquez,
so this lap could be the one with a pit And GRD hits slightly the wall and gets a
suspension damage ! That's not a good thing to get back on the podium !
And he rubs here... We see Vtec in 8th who has come down in the
ranking, since he made a mistake here on the previous lap
It's a very tough part, especially having some damage, the steering gets very unstable
Pimiki does his race quietly He's 7th, alone, this race is a bit dull for him
Cristo 5th, not bad, he still sees GRD, maybe
he could get back, even if it's not done Pimiki chills out, he could stop by the Mc Drive
Pvasquez getting in the pits, Tuesday doesn't,
Vicente stops, GRD stops That doesn't surprise me from Tuesday
Everybody is pitting, except Tuesday Top left corner, Pvasquez, top right corner, Vicente
bottom left Nunocristo and bottom right, GRD
We're going to see the fuel strategy, the tyres are changed, but it's fuel which takes
a lot of time to load in So Pvasquez should clearly get out before
Vicente, if it's not the case, it's no good Pvasquez gets out, and Vicente gets out quickly,
and in front ! And Cristo gets out in front of GRD as well !
GRD may have taken too much fuel and he lost time
We're now with Vicente, second, but he's virtually first, considering Tuesday still has to stop to do
Vicente didn't get much gas, we see he has only 3 quarters on his gauge
He's playing with fire ! Vicente and cristo got less petrol than GRD and Pvasquez, who
find themselves behind again Tuesday's game is going to push *** a lap or two
Look on the map, he almost finished his lap
Vtec earned several positions, he got in 8, he gets out 6, he took much less fuel than
Valgar and Pimiki Tuesday makes his stop now, he can allow himself to do it now
He has to do it now, his rear right tyre is
completely destroyed Will he manage to get out in front ?
So we see in full screen Vicente in front of Pvasquez, he did exit really better
Tuesday is getting his tyres changed, now waiting for gas to fuel in
Vicente pushes hard, hoping to pass, he should get first, Tuesday was a bit far behind
He's going to have enough time, he has to exit now
I can't see him getting out in front, considering he was 3rd before
No, it's going to be ok for Vicente, he's in the straight, Tuesday won't be able to
stay in front, but Pvasquez is going to have trouble !
Tuesday has taken off a position on him, he must have refuelled too much
Pvasquez falls down, that's sad, he was first and quite fast, but it's not the end, he may
take his revenge on Tuesday The pits were a close shave between those two
So, Vicente 1st, Tuesday 2nd, Pvasquez 3rd,
GRD 4th, Cristo 5th... oh yeah, we see GRD overtook him already,
he made up for his longer pit stop Here is Vtec in 6th, he gained a lot of time
in the pits, and he's passing Cristo who made a bad exit here !
Vtec is 5th and he is getting back in the race !
But when you look at his fuel gauge, he is already under the half, check the difference,
Pvasquez has at least 20% more than him we will have to watch out for the fuel consumption
7 laps remaining, will it be enough ? Tuesday doesn't have much as well...
But he still got more than Vtec, who worries me
And you can see Pvasquez is in the rhythm, he's not letting Tuesday away, still in the
slipstream We see the battle for 5th position with Vtec,
Cristo and Valgar, who comes back also, even though he doesn't have the draft
Bubblepax still 9th, he can't catch up, it's tough for him this time
Look at the bottom while we're onboard with Tuesday, there is a 2 second gap between Vicente
and Tuesday knowing Tuesday made a better lap, he took
off nearly half a second on Vicente... oops, no, I'm looking at their best laps...
it's difficult to tell for now, so we'll see now if he's catching up on the first sector
Vicente in 40.6, Tuesday in 40.8, so Vicente is increasing the gap for now, while Tuesday
is still threatened by Pvasquez Vtec 5th, and Cristo not far may want to give
him back his manners Vtec gets a bit wide, but it's tough here,
you have at least to be on the other driver's side to attempt something in the parabolic
We now see less overtakes, the race involves more strategy
It's going to change soon, when tyre wear will play its game again
Tuesday took back 0.7 second in sector 2,
he shaved off half a second better on the whole lap, he can catch up and claim for victory
And Vasquez is not so far as well, when Cristo overtakes Vtec
Vtec gets too much on the outside ! He crosses back... no...
It seems Vtec is always too wide on the first corner when battling, he already lost positions
in this race because of that
And Valgar took care of his suspensions, he seems to have damages everywhere, but he's
not so far from Vtec and Cristo Vasquez inflicted himself a damage, and he
lost Tuesday's slipstream. He's too far And Tuesday is soon going to take Vicente's
slipstream It smells like 3rd position for Vasquez, he
has a good margin on his followers I feel he's cracking, as he has a damaged
suspension He may be safe on that spot
Vtec is getting caught by Valgar, Vtec again on the outside, I don't know why
Watch out not to bump each other ! Vtec battles with his suspension
Valgar, very good driver, will probably make it
And Vtec doesn't have a lot of fuel Vicente, still first, but let's check the
gap : 8 tenth ! Tuesday is there, and he has 4 laps to take
the lead, the end of this race is going to be hot !
He surely has the slipstream, that will allow him to catch up in next straight, and maybe
even to attack on next lap It's going to be difficult for the ORMA driver
to resist We'll see Vicente's nerves on this ending
He's doing a beautiful race from the beginning, he stayed in Pvasquez's rhythm on the first half
Oh Tuesday just rubbed the wall ! He damaged
a suspension ! That won't help, making things more complicated for him !
We're on Vtec, getting passed by Valgar Look, Vasquez has a lot of damages, in the
end it may not be that easy to remain 3rd Vtec seems to get joined by Pimiki, he seems
to be struggling We're watching GRD now, no damage, enough
Tuesday may try something here, 3 laps remaining... no, he's still too far
Despite his damage, he still gets closer, he's completely on Vicente's tail
Tuesday who started last on the grid Side by side, Vtec and Pimiki, Vtec still
fuel to get to the end, it's possible for him to come back on Vasquez
making the same mistake, but he manages to defend
Oh, he eases the throttle to let Pimiki pass, maybe he though he was too rough
he's rubbing everywhere, and look at his fuel gauge ! He's going to finish on vapors !
Vicente, first, but for how much time ? But he can believe in it, 2 laps and a half remains
Tuesday lost a bit of time in sector 2, he's not sticking on him anymore
and while I say that, he just took back a few tenths on that corner !
He's preparing an attack in the main straight, is he going to try it ?
At the end of the straight, he should go, here, inside, outside, you have to choose...
he waited a bit too long ! He failed !
He couldn't decide on the outside or inside. Vicente took well the line on the inside
Tuesday has to hurry and be very aggressive, he tries to find mice holes where there aren't
he has to watch out for barriers and wall also
We see he is a bit faster here, he may move here, no, in this fast S you need a big mistake
from your opponent to pass Vicente exits well, it's tense between the
ORMA and the PureGT The corner is coming...
Tuesday has a good exit, but it's not enough to try in the next one
I think he hopes to get a better acceleration at the end of the lap to make the perfect move in the straight
And Vtec ran out of fuel ! Ha, that's ugly, he miscalculated
He's in good position What should Vicente do ?
Let him pass on the straight beginning to try to get him again ?
But Tuesday hasn't, he can attack immediately, however the speed difference is not huge
side by side entering last lap, it's getting hot, watch out for contact !
But no damage here, Tuesday on the inside, Vicente has his bumper in front, he resists on the outside
Tuesday drifting here ! They are still side
by side, Vicente one step ahead ! Vicente resists, he closed the door.
Tuesday swerves and let some precious meters away.
We can't blame anything on Vicente. Yeah, it was beautifully done, it was rather clean
Tuesday hits where he already spoiled his car
We review all the drivers, Vtec out of fuel,
AJ silva, bubblepax, Pimiki, Valgar who has damages everywhere but still finishes 6th
Cristo 5th, who's not so far from GRD, but not enough to hope for anything
GRD finally couldn't catch up on Pvasquez, who will remain 3rd
but victory will be decidedbetween those two ! Vicente seems to have built up a little margin
before the final straight, and considering the finishing line is at the middle of it,
it's going to be very difficult for Tuesday He's going to give it everything he has !
He made a good exit, but is a bit far, it's now, he moves !
But it's too late, Vicente wins in a breath !
Everything was set on the first corner, where
Tuesday tried to get the inside, then he touched a barrier, drifted and lost time
Wonderful victory for Vicente who worked *** it until the very end
Tuesday, incredible race through the pack Pvasquez finishes 3rd, he can have a bit of
regrets because he leads the whole first half Look at how little petrol he has remaining,
GRD also Everyone calculated to have the least fuel
possible, GRD who finished 4th, he could have played for victory with his pace
but he had some damages on the second relay, he had another one at the end of the first
relay, he did some little mistakes It's a proof we can have some fights until
the end on longer races, that's quite impressive Tuesday showed he was worthy, awesome race,
we don't see often races where there's less than a tenth between the drivers on the line
0.070 between Vicente and Tuesday, that's outstanding !
Vasquez 3rd, GRD 4th, Cristo 5, Valgar 6, then, Pimiki, Bubblepax, AJsilva and Vtec
That was really a great race That's GT Fusion, Nanaki !
Show must go on ! We remind you this year, GT Fusion airs on Game One Music HD
This month, we have 2 races from the same round, the previous race to this one, group
B's 3rd race and 1st race from group 1 We hope you enjoyed that, and we're looking
