To keep all the my switches and dials in a neat central location
I'm installing a Raptor Engineering dash console.
Please note that the dash does not need to be dismantled for this installation.
Start by mounting the template and cut through using a hack saw or angle grinder.
Bolt the unit in place and use spacers were necessary to avoid warping of the frame.
Run the wiring for all the switches and dials.
Note the Mudpod bracket installed on top.
I've replaced the front dash panel with a Raptor Dash and a MUD Mudpod.
This keeps all my switches and dials in a central location.
My dials are now a Voltmeter, Oil pressure gauge and Boost pressure gauge.
I included a Pyrometer for measuring the exhaust gas temperature
and the Engine Watchdog for measuring the block temperature.
Plus two 12 volt sockets.
And an Icom UHF radio.
For my switches I have a MUD UK rear windscreen wiper and washer carling
front spot light, rear light, engine bay lights, and 2 spares for future installations.
I replaced 2 of the original dials with a VDO Tachometer and coolant temperature gauge.
The new interior includes a Mulgo ExBox which houses a secondary fuse box for powering all
my accessories.
This will operate off a secondary battery.
The fuse box is protected by a *** fuse.
