Chris Ryan Photography in Portland, Oregon. Today, I'm going to talk to you about studio
photography. How to set up for a photo shoot. Well, most photo shoots involve an array of
lights and a background. So the first thing you have to do is figure out how, what your
lighting style is gonna be, how you want to light the scene. You've got a couple side
lights, a front fill light, and a back light, or hair light. If you set up these lights
in a way that reflects the style that you're looking for, or works with the subject matter
you're working with. And then, again, the appropriate background. Whether it's black
or white, or table top. Every photo shoots needs lights, needs a background. Once you
have all those elements together, then you're able to make a nice frame in the studio.
