Alright, I'm going to cut another one of these curves again just to have my little piece
of my pattern up here, use my Sharpie to mark the piece I want. But again, it is going to
be hard to cut that curve so I'm just going to probably do a relief line here, maybe try
and do one here and just kind of cut this piece first and then try and get this one
second. One nice thing about the cutter is that it also kind of prepares the glass for
the grozing. In other words, you can go ahead and score what you want and then break it
along the relief lines and then you will find that when you are grozing that glass does
want to break where you scored it. Again, I've got a curve here. I am kind of pushing
my luck to try and do it in one stretch so I am going to kind of do one cut first. Again,
I've got my cutter right up and down. And again, I've gone past it because you really
can't just cut right angles, so I am going to get that piece first. Grip it and break
it away from me. There you go. You see it breaks real clean along that score you make
if you use the right amount of pressure. OK, so now I am going to make, let's see, two
more cuts to get the shape I want. So I need to make this one here. This is a good little
clip for you to be watching to understand really that sometimes, to get the piece you
want... Oops, wrong pliers. Sometimes to get the piece you want you need to make two or
three cuts and fashion it out of glass rather than a much easier task which is to just cut
it, like cutting it out of paper or something. OK, so I've got really one more cut. Let me
see if I can, how close to this groove I can get it. Again, up and down. There is our lovely
little scratching sound. We will see how well this breaks. With any luck we will get a little
bit of that curve in the break. But now, pretty good, still have those edges. So now I'm going
to go to my grozing pliers again and I will find that when I use them the glass already
kind of wants to break away there because it has already been scored.
