On behalf of Expert Village, this is Paul Zuckerman with the cast of Chicago City Limits
here in New York City, and today we're going to you some techniques for improvisational
comedy. As improvisers, we often talk about starting scenes in the middle of a scene.
It's not all that interesting to have people introduce themselves, but what seems to become
interesting is when they really take off, when things are happening. Let's see a scene
that starts in the middle. You're a solider! Stand up and act like one! I'm just against
the war! That's what you keep saying, but you can afford to be against the war! You're
with your unit! Now, we're going to get out there and we're going to work together! Afterwards
we can be against the war. We're depending on you. I'm sorry, I'm a-wall. Get somebody
else to do your killing for you. Good luck.
