Hi! My name is Antar with Blue Phoenix Media you can find us on the web at www.bluepmedia.com
and in conjunction with Expert Village we’re going to be talking to you today about videography.
Now we’re on our final segment and I’m going to talk to you about videography tips,
these are just some general tips that you can use when you’re actually doing your
videography work. First tip is always bring extra batteries, you think you have charged,
you think you have enough time and then you run out of batteries and you’re screwed.
You always want to bring extra tapes, you never know when some shoots are going to run
over, you never know when something’s going to happen and you have some extra work to
be done. Next thing is check your camera before you leave make sure that it’s recording,
make sure that your settings are set that way when you get to set that you don’t necessarily
have to set everything up. Next thing is preplan, preplan, preplan there’s no substitute for
proper planning. Next thing is that try to get there 30 minutes to 45 minutes before
your scheduled to be in, now I know you might say, wow that’s a long time but anything
that can go wrong will go wrong and generally after 30 to 45 minutes you’re trying to
get there you’ll probably end up being there on time because of traffic and things like
that might of actually interrupted you on your way there. My name is Antar with Blue
Phoenix Media thank you for watching, you can find us on the web at www.bluepmedia.com.
