I like DK because I like to look at pictures. I like seeing what I'm going to see so I can
identify it. I like the exploding views; I like the city
walk tours, especially. The fold-out maps, the covers that have extensive
subway systems. I love the architecture sections the best.
There will be something like a church and then there's a cutaway and it gives you, basically,
a detailed map of different rooms. They give you a list of all the different
itineraries. And the best part: it's like a souvenir. When
you are done traveling, you have this great book with pictures, with timelines, with little
nuggets of information, so it reminds you of what you just did.
I never travel without first buying the books. You have a lot of them, don't you?
