Hi, I'm Courtney Miller here with Club Pilates to teach you and awesome standing exercise
using the Spring Board.
I've got one spring in hand, legs in parallel, hand on hip. I bend my knees and as I lengthen,
I reach through my arm. This is an exercise that integrates upper and lower body while
working your core to stabilize. It's actually quite challenging.
On the next one, I'm going to come away from the spring board a little bit more, bend my
knees and reach my leg forward. I draw my arm in towards the mid line to work my Rotator
Cuff. It's a really important exercise to help stay strong. At the same time, I have
that core challenge by stabilizing.
From here I open up my legs and arms, interlace my hands and I work my Rotator muscles and
my spine. This is a great exercise for golfers, tennis players, and anyone who really needs
to twist through their body.
From here I rotate my body, lean forward, and go into some single arm tricep extensions.
I have to stabilize through my center as I reach through my arm.
This is a fun series to do. You can do the whole series all the way through and amp up
your cardio. It works the Rotator Cuff, stability, and twisting exercises that will help you
to get the most out of your sports at home.
