Razor bumps, medically known as to know Pseudofolliculitis Barbae, or PFB
are small irritated bombs on the skin.
They develop after shaving when strands of hair
curl back on themselves and grow into the skin instead of straight out of the follicle.
PFB can make the skin look itchy and red
and in some cases may eventually cause scarring. The one sure thing
that will prevent PFB is to stop shaving. Of course
for many men this isn't a viable option. The good news
is there are a few things that you can do to help. Remember
PFB is caused by a hair especially
course curly hair growing back into the skin. Taking a hot shower
before shaving will soften the hair and open the pores.
The bump fighter razor is designed to cut the hair at the
optimal length, to prevent the hair from becoming ingrown.
Use the bump fighter razor and shave the direction that your beard grows.
Don't stretch your skin or apply too much pressure. Finish your shave
with the cold rinse and an alcohol-free aftershave too soothe
the skin. Combining PFB BumpFighter Razor
with the skin care tips can help make your razor bumps disappear.
