One of the greatest things that you can find at garages sales, which I still find; I’m
always on the lookout for records. Now this particular record, which is the Butcher album,
cover for the Beatles, Yesterday and Today. This particular album, if you see it obviously
buy it because it is worth about fifteen hundred dollars, but you are not going to see many
of these but I am using that as something that is indicative as to what you want to
find in the terms of records. When you are out there looking for records, you want to
look for certain things. First of all you want to look for things that are from the
baby boomer period are most collectible now. Kind of like the Beatles, this is the newer
cover of that, they pulled this cover as a historical. Whoops this is a Free Wheeling
cover, this is what I wanted to show you. This is a Bob Dillon Free Wheeling cover.
If you see this record, grab it because you might be getting the Free Wheeling original
album that has four less songs than this one does. This one is probably worth ten or fifteen
dollars but the original with original songs is worth like thirty-five thousand dollars.
This, when you want to look for records, what you want to do is look at the record and make
sure that there are no scratches on it because that is number one. Like I have always said
Expert Village.comers, condition is everything, so check your records rather they be 45’s
or LP’s, don’t buy any of the easy listening stuff. You know you just don’t want to hear
Andy Williams, unfortunately, the Barry Manilow, I mean I like them but not many people do
so there you go, remember, always look for vinyl at garage sales. Don’t buy any easy
listening or cassettes because they suck.
