EION: A group of 15 students and 2 faculty headed down to Montgomery, West Virginia to rebuild houses of families in need.
...as well as immerse themselves in the culture of the Appalachians.
Senior communication major and student leader Arielle Friscia explains.
ARIELLE: We got to work on two projects. One project was a family's trailer home whose trailer burnt down.
ARIELLE: The other site I was at with the other half of the group was a single father who is raising two kids on his own.

....The Fighter, Inception, The Kids Are All Right, The King's Speech, 127 Hours, The Social Network, Toy Story 3, True Grit and Winter's Bone.
LAUREN: Let's hear what some students and faculty have to say about the nominees.
>>>Inception should win because it's a really good movie. It blew my mind. It was crazy but I had to watch it a couple of times to fully grasp everything that was going on.
>>> In my opinion, Black Swan should win everything.
>>> I saw a lot of the movies that are running up for Best Film and I think it's a close tie between Toy Stoy 3 and The Black Swan but The Black Swan should definitely take home the Oscar.
>>> I thought Inception was a good movie...
...It was my favorite movie of the summer. It was different, you know, not a lot of movies speak about dreams.
>>> For the Oscar for the Best Movie, I think Toy Story 3 should win because it was really cute and really funny.
>>> I recently saw Salt, it was a really good movie. It kept me guessing as to what was going on so I like that.
...I also recently saw Inception which I found confusing.
>>>Toy Story 3 should definitely be the winner. It was a really good movie.
...It just brought the first two in a complete circle. I was crying at the end, I'll admit it.
LAUREN: Now that we heard what their opinions are, find out if your favorite will win on Sunday, February 27th at 8 P.M. on ABC.
