Hi my name is Krystin Brinton and I blog at
everythingyoudoisaballoon.ca.
And today I'm going to show you how you can make a
decorative centre piece with a mason jar.
First you'll need a clear mason jar, some spray paint, any colour
you like, some decorative paper, 2-sided tape and and some twine.
I'm using twine but you can also use ribbon if you like.
So the first thing you want to do is spray your
mason jar with the spray paint.
You don't want to put the paint on too heavy.
So just many light coats is better than a few heavy coats
or else you're going to get very thick paint
that doesn't look very neat and clean.
After you've let your mason jar dry for 24-48 hours
it will be ready for you to put your paper on.
So just cut it to fit around the jar, grab your 2-sided tape,
add the tape to the edges of the paper and then
just wrap it around the jar and secure it that way
Grab your twine and just make a bow around the middle
and you can also add some at the base if you like that look.
that's it, it's ready to have flowers put in and you can use
it as a wedding centrepiece and on your table at home.
It's a really easy and inexpensive craft.
